My time pass:
Operating system concepts, why and how things work!.... all these queries keep me busy all the time. My life and interests: Photography: I love taking snaps of landscapes. Thanks to Samuel Jacob, my colleague/friend for educating me with basics of photography. OS kernel: This was my first love since my BE days. I somehow had a misconception that working on OS kernel and related areas is a very demanding job and definitely not for me. I was very curious when I saw an ad from HP which looked out for engineers interested in OS kernel job. I was fully excited and started preparing for it. I got a call from HP and soon after I got a call from Juniper too. I was selected in HP and I started working from July 2006. I am currently working in HP on TRU64 kernel. I now enjoy my job of digging code inside TRU64 kernel. My team maintains TRU64 kernel, VM, PM, Libraries. I am lucky to have some great guys in my team who have consistently helped me in understanding some of the most intricate topics. Since then, I've got to learn some things or the other everyday. HP is good in recognizing raw talent. :) I am also moving into HP Virtual Memory team, since TRU64 is expected to close down by 2011. So I am having a great time in acquiring knowledge on both these magnificent operating systems. I am also involved in development of ACE os as an hobby. You can find more info about it right here. Sports: Basketball: This a great game and I enjoy it the most. I started learning basket ball from 4th std and continued till 2nd PU. I somehow could not continue it in BE(RVCE). I still yearn to play and I do try playing once or twice in a year. If somebody like me is listening, then do call me.....I am still ready to play, but only waiting for a playing partner!!!! Cricket: This is one hopeless addictive game, which I can't stop watching, even though I want to do it desperately. Music: This is not my game.....I just like listening to it for some time. I however like listening to classical music for long long time. That's how I grew up!!! My mom is a great classical singer. So probably I have it in my blood and it has still not spilled out! :)
